The Glenrothes distillery presents a 12-year-old single malt as part of its Soleo Collection. Drawing inspiration from the sun-drying of grapes in Jerez for sherry making, this range promises a delightful sherried experience. Notably, the label opts for age statements over vintage, a choice consistent across most of the series.

• Cask Make up: Exclusively Sherry seasoned casks
• Nose: Light fragrance, banana and vanilla
• Palate: Banana, lemon and melon with a hint of cinnamon
• Finish: Long and sweet, gala melon light spice

• Cask Make up: Exclusively Sherry Seasoned Casks
• Nose: Ripe pear and sweet vanilla pods, tempered by aromatic orange oil. Invigorating almond notes and a well-rounded fragrance add complexity, whilst a hint of dried ginger spice creates unassuming depth.
• Palate: A rich and deep flavour, alive with sweet ginger, pear and rose water. Aromatic fruit and light oak create gentle spice, which balances nicely against an undercurrent of creamy vanilla.
• Finish: Divine sweetness balanced with spice and a gently peppery undertone.

• Nose: Ripe peaches, liquid caramel and zesty orange peel. An aroma rich with nutty sweetness and marzipan and gentle, fragrant notes.
• Palate: Creamy vanilla, ripe stone fruit and orange oil, infused with toasted almonds, Swiss milk chocolate, delicate oak notes and a lingering sweet spice.
• Finish: Rich and sweet with a silky nuttiness and persisting fragrance.

A beautifully balanced whisky bottled only at the perfect moment, 42 years.  The 42 boasts an intensely aromatic fragrance, distinctly sweet taste, yet a smooth, velvety mouthfeel.  Bottled at natural colour, like all our whiskies, its naturally deep amber tone is a result of the four decades' long maturation in oak casks.

• Nose: Sun-ripened apricots, orange peel, and sugared almonds. Elegantly fragrant with notes of fresh coriander seed and nutmeg, and a hint of fresh cedar wood.
• Palate: Richly sweet with brown sugar and honeycomb. Creamy with vanilla and toasted almonds. Some light oak and distinctive orange oil fragrance.
• Finish: Creamy, sweet, and velvety with gentle lingering fragrance.
