Highland Park 12 Year Old

A fresh-faced, zesty whisky with a natural golden amber colour direct from the cask. Spicy but mellow, with subtle smoke on the finish, it’s a great introduction to the unique warmth of Orkney heathered peat—and the convivial spirit of our island home.
- Cask make up: Sherry seasoned American and European oak casks; Predominantly 1st fill European casks, providing a darker natural colour and a mature fruity yet smoky character
- Appearance: Natural. Glowing amber
- Nose: Heather-honey sweetness, gentle peaty smokiness
- Palate: Rounded smoke and honey sweetness, full malt delivery. Oak, alongside equal amounts of dried fruits and spice
- Finish: Sweet and lingering with heathery notes and subtle smoke right at the end
Highland Park 15 Year Old

A flavourful and intriguingly complex whisky with a deep golden natural colour from the cask. Finely balancing aromatic warmth with zingy citrus notes, Highland Park 15 is all about lively contrasts—just like life here in Orkney.
- Cask make up: Matured in hand-selected first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks
- Appearance: Naturally light, golden, clear and bright in colour
- Nose: Lightly toasted oak, lemon peel, honey
- Palate: Toasted cinnamon shards, mellow peat smoke, warm vanilla sponge cake, sun-kissed lemon zest, fresh pineapple, heather-rich honey.
- Finish: Medium length finish with citrus and vanilla notes lingering in the aromatic waves of peat smoke.
Highland Park 18 Year Old

Deep and intensely fruity but effortlessly smooth, Highland Park 18 is our most highly awarded (and dearly beloved) whisky, and for good reason. With a natural glowing amber colour straight from the cask, it’s a multi-layered whisky with many stories to tell—just like the people who make it.
- Cask make up: Matured exclusively in sherry seasoned European oak casks for a minimum of 18 years
- Appearance: Natural colour; burnished gold, clear and bright
- Nose: Rich, mature oak; top note of aromatic smoke
- Palate: Rich, full flavour; honey and peat
- Finish: Soft, round and long
Highland Park 21 year old

Our 21 Year Old 2023 Release is a fine example of the rewards delivered by a long and unhurried maturation, and by the marriage of exceptional casks. For this release, a total of 36 ex-bourbon hogsheads, first-fill sherry seasoned European and American oak casks, and ex-Rioja casks, all laid down between 1998 and 2001, were hand-selected by our Master Whisky Maker, Gordon Motion.
- Appearance: Bright Russet
- Nose: Tropical fruits, toasted almonds, freshly grated nutmeg and floral peat smoke
- Palate: Lemon zest and aromatic fenugreek, apples caramelised in honey and cinnamon, and a dusting of cedar-smoked sweet paprika
- Finish: Woody spices with just a hint of citrus oil in the heather-rich peat smoke.
Highland Park 25 year old

Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion hand-picked fewer than 20 casks including sherry seasoned European oak casks, combined with first-fill Bourbon casks and refill casks. All for their ability to enrich the whisky with a depth of flavour and character. Laid down and matured safely within the 19 dunnage and 4 racking warehouse at The Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney. Filtered at 6 - 9 degrees Celsius to bring out key flavours.
- Appearance: Rich and golden, hints of copper
- Nose: Tropical fruits, toasted almonds, freshly grated nutmeg and floral peat smoke
- Palate: Warm vanilla | Buttery fudge | Heather honey | Soft dried fruits

Highland Park 30 year old

A complex expression created from fewer than 20 casks laid down in 1989 and earlier years, our 30 Year Old Spring 2019 Release is the rarefied result of a trio of different cask types.
Master Whisky Maker, Gordon Motion, took the unusual step of bringing together three different cask types for this release.
Despite the wild winds that constantly beset our islands, Orkney has a surprisingly mild climate with few extremes of temperature. This, combined with our insistence on the finest quality casks, allows us to age our whisky for longer than many other distilleries, losing less to the Angels’ Share and producing mature whisky of exceptional quality and character. This superb 25 Year Old is a fine example of the rewards delivered by a long and unhurried maturation.
- Appearance: Golden with hints of glowing amber
- Nose: Sweet vanilla and floral honey with hints of sharp citrus
- Palate: Soft caramel, bitter dark chocolate, warm spices
- Finish: Aromatic peat smoke
Highland Park was founded as a side-hustle, by Magnus “Mansie” Eunson, a local church beadle and part-time whisky smuggler, who, after years of hiding bottles under his pulpit, obtained his first whisky making license in 1798. Over 200 years later, we’re still following Mansie’s lead and making whisky to our own rules, maintaining and reimagining craft traditions that have been left behind on the mainland, while embracing and celebrating the unique, subtly smoky flavour of his secret ingredient: Orkney heathered peat.
