Auchentoshan American Oak Cask

Matured only in first fill American oak casks, the crisp citrus and bourbon vanilla flavours make this the perfect introduction into malt whisky. Perfect served as a long drink, in a cocktail or savoured on its own.

  • Appearance: Bright Gold
  • Nose: Bourbon, vanilla and coconut with layers of zesty citrus fruit
  • Palate: Refreshingly smooth yet lively with vanilla cream, coconut and white peach
  • Finish: Crisp, with sugared grapefruit and a hint of spice.

This award-winning Auchentoshan has been matured in three different cask types. From American Bourbon to Spanish Oloroso Sherry - and finally Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks - this is a rich, complex whisky with toffee and sherry flavours

  • Appearance: Rich golden bronze
  • Nose: Blackcurrant, brown sugar, orange, plum and raisin
  • Palate: Hazelnut with hints of cinnamon and lemon and a butterscotch sweetness
  • Finish: Fresh & fruity, with long lasting oaky sweetness.

Auchentoshan 12 Year Old

Matured for 12 years in North American bourbon oak casks with an added hint of sherry-matured malt.

  • Appearance: Golden Honey
  • Nose: Crème brulee, a burst of citrus and trace of nuttiness and green leaf
  • Palate: Smooth and sweet with hints of tangerine and lime
  • Finish: Ginger and slightly drying with a pleasant lingering nuttiness.

Auchentoshan Promo

The name Auchentoshan, pronounced "Ock-Un-Tosh-Un", is from Gaelic and translates as "corner of the field". The distillery is located at the foot of the Kilpatrick Hills on the outskirts of Clydebank in West Dunbartonshire near the Erskine Bridge. Founded in 1823, this Lowland whisky is one of only 6 distilleries in the region, showcasing the unique flavour of Glasgow. 

To this day Auchentoshan is the only Single Malt in Scotland to triple distill every single last drop. Not because of tradition, but because that is what it takes to create a delicate flavour unlike any other.
